At OG Original®, all our products go through a rigorous and thorough quality control inspection to ensure that they meet all requirements and standards. For this reason, all purchases are subject to a double warranty system, on one hand the THREE YEAR legal warranty, under the conditions established by law, and then also a commercial warranty up to TEN YEARS. Therefore, if a problem occurs with an OG Original® product (the “Product”) and the problem is caused by manufacturing defects in material or workmanship, we will, in our discretion, replace the Product in accordance with the warranty terms and conditions stated here. This warranty applies only to the person who has purchased the Product or to the person who has received the Product as a gift, as long as they appear on the original invoice/proof of purchase.

This warranty applies only to backpacks purchased after April 15, 2022 and with the corresponding holographic identification seal and unique serial number on the wash tag.

This warranty covers only manufacturing and/or component defects, such as a faulty zipper, damaged buckles, coating peeling off, open seams, fabric that is cut too short, and discoloration of the fabric. This warranty does not cover any damage caused by misuse (such as transportation of unusual items), neglect, accidents, abrasion, exposure to extreme temperatures, solvents, acids, water, normal wear and tear or transport damage (by airlines, for example).

Regarding the right of replacement by warranty, you will need to send a copy of your original receipt of purchase together with your claimed Product. An inspection will determine whether the problem is covered by our OG Original® warranty or not. Any replacement, covered by our warranty, will be at our expense, including any costs required to ship the replacement Product back to you. If the Product needs replacing but is no longer available, we will substitute your original Product for a comparable OG Original® Product.

Incidental and consequential damages are not covered by this warranty, nor are labor charges or damages attributable to work performed by anyone else other than OG Original®. To the extent permitted by applicable law, any implied warranties are therefore excluded. This warranty is limited to the value of the Product. Manufacturing specifications are subject to change without notice.  Please note that some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

With regards to our luggage items with locks: locks are intended only to prevent accidental opening and cannot necessarily prevent theft of the Product or its contents, breakage or entry by airline or airport personnel or governmental authorities. Inspect your Product immediately after handling by anyone other than you. If damaged in transit, submit a claim to the transit company (which is insured against damaging your Product) at the place of arrival, if possible, before clearing customs.

  • What does the warranty cover?

The warranty covers defects in material and/or construction to include seams, seam tape, zips, stitching and construction materials.

  • What is not covered by the warranty?

The warranty does not cover damage due to (fair) wear and tear, crash damage, accidental damage, rips, tears, abrasion, chemical or fuel damage, UV degradation, misuse or neglect.

  • What is considered as (fair) wear and tear?

(Fair) wear and tear refers to the reasonable and practical expected life span of the product in use. If something is extensively used it may naturally wear out and that may happen before the end of the warranty period.

OG Original® are happy to assist with a warranty claim.

To contact us about a warranty claim, e-mail with a picture and description of the problem and confirm when and where your OG Original® product was purchased and where in the World you are.

Return postage costs will not be covered so please do contact us before sending any products back. Sometimes we can fix the problem before you spend money on return postage. 

A proof of purchase will always be required.

OG Original® reserves the right to replace products at their discretion in line with the policies of the OG Original® 10-Year Warranty

In the case of a replacement, a direct “like for like” model will be offered or an equivalent model if the original is no longer in production/available. No cash alternative is available.

All internal production tags must be intact and unaltered.

The OG Original® 10-Year Warranty is valid from the date of purchase and covers the original owner against defects in material and/or workmanship and is limited to repair or replacement of the product, not consequential damage or associated costs.

Your statutory rights are not affected.
